Triathlon is a lifelong activity unlike so many other kids' sports. It is my hope your child will enjoy several sports throughout the year, using triathlon as the foundation for a healthy life. I believe in teaching fundamentals not only of the sport, but of life. I also believe training has to be fun so a child will WANT to participate.
ANNOUNCING: TRI TRAINING!!
I am happy to announce a year-round, day-time, tri training group that will start on April 23rd. This group will meet from 1:30-3pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The group is open to children of all ability levels who can pass a swim test (tread water for one minute and confidently swim 25m of front crawl stroke without assistance or touching) up to 16 years old. We will work on triathlon specific swimming skills, bike handling skills and transitions (with running mixed in). The training calendar can be found here. You will need to register your child and then sign up for training month to month, or subscribe. (Subscribing will auto-renew your child's training every month.)
